Conversations in New Music concert series

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Conversations in New Music series brings together performers, composers, and guest lecturers in an effort to dispel the mystique of contemporary classical music and offer the uninitiated a touchstone for listening and enjoying it. The Spektral Quartet brings George Crumb's Black Angels and Bernard Rands's String Quartet No. 2 to the residency, and the ensemble is especially keen to workshop and perform two new works by composers Lee Weisert and Stefan Litwin.
